Meriantha

Meriantha

A way of seeing.

The pattern is already there.

Some things are easier to notice slowly. This is a collection of images made while paying attention. Each one came from looking at something long enough to see it differently.

Two green frogs on a mossy log in a wetland, one perched above and one half-submerged, in muted green tones

Still Watching

It noticed me before I noticed it.

Available as print

The Exchange

Neither one is doing this alone.

White and red poppies with bees on a deep teal background in an illustrative botanical style

The Network

Nothing here is separate.

A moth with poppies and spores in coral and gold tones on a black background

Membrane

Most of it happens without witnesses.

White poppies and red wildflowers with bees and a snail on a dark background, in a folk art botanical style

Nocturnal

The work continues regardless.

Available as print

Golden dandelion seedheads glowing in a dark forest setting

Slow Form

Growth doesn’t announce itself.

Peonies with a bee on a dark green background in a style reminiscent of Maria Sibylla Merian

Old Arrangement

This relationship is older than the names for it.

Abstract organic forms with dotted patterns and coral accents on black, resembling a scientific specimen plate

Emergence

The pattern forms without instruction.

Available as print

A frog does not decide to belong to its wetland. It simply does. Most of what we call intelligence is this kind of knowing — wordless, embedded, already happening.

On observation

The pattern repeats at every scale. River deltas, lung tissue, mycelial networks, lightning. At some point you stop calling it coincidence and start paying attention.

On systems

Generative tools do not create meaning. They surface possibility. The meaning comes from what you choose to look at, and what you recognize when you do.

On the work

Stay as long as you like.

A few of these exist beyond the screen.
